Notable news includes: the skyrocketing price of the BONK memecoin has caused Solana’s Saga phone to sell out, the phone came loaded with a $10 BONK airdrop but the previously modest airdrop now more than offsets the entire cost of the phone with BONK gaining ~70x since then; LayerZero unveiled its v2 iteration in a sleek marketing video and went live across more than 40 testnets; Immutable zkEVM revealed that its game developers will be able to abstract away or sponsor the minimal gas fees for its users, removing a key UX barrier from blockchain gaming; Ripple issued a white paper on CBDCs reiterating a belief in their potential; cyber.Fund announced its committing $100m to investing in projects intersecting blockchain, AI, and IoT; and, yesterday’s Ledger exploit drained an estimated ~$500k.
